About ISNE

The conference is intended to provide a forum for new economists (in post-graduate research programs or private/public sectors) to present papers from any area of economics. This forum is intended for anybody in the early stages of research - eligibility to present has nothing to do with age.  We strongly encourage those working on economics-based research in all settings to present.

Any interested parties that do not have a paper to present, but would like to attend the conference, are very welcome at the event. There are no conference fees to either attend or present at the conference.

Keynote Address

The keynote address at this year's conference will be given by Robert Wright, Professor of Economics at the University  of StrathClyde, Scotland. He is a member of the British Household Panel Scientific Steering Committee, the National Population Projections Expert Advisory Panel, Office of National Statistics and the Mortality Research Working Group, Board for Actuarial Standards. Previously he was Executive Director of the Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics. Professor Wright's keynote address will be on:

"Demographic Change and Macroeconomic Performance"
